The Sundt Foundation Board of Directors donated $5,000 to the Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation to provide critical essentials to students, helping to remove barriers that prevent academic achievement and personal excellence. These necessities cover a range of items including shoes, class fees, uniforms, emergency medical needs, graphing calculators and other school supplies, cap/gown, personal hygiene items, and more.

A check along with an array of school supplies were presented to the MUSD Student and Family Support Services team at the District’s newly refinished Family Resource Center.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generous support of our business community,” said Cindy Ruich, director of Student and Family Support Services. “These gifts make a difference for our students and their families, closing the gap to make critical wants and needs a reality.

The Sundt Foundation was created in 1999 as a way to give back to the communities where they live and work. Since then, they’ve awarded millions of dollars in grants to nonprofit organizations that focus on improving lives. Grant money comes from individual employee contributions, which are matched dollar-for-dollar by the company.
